When I made the decision that I wanted to take the chance and follow my
dreams, the 'net provided a great source of information on wrestling schools,
equipment dealers, et cetera. One resource I couldn't find, however, was an
account of what the process is like from start to finish. The recent
autobiographies of Mick Foley and the Rock gave me a bit of insight into this
crazy world of professional wrestling, but I wondered if their accounts were
slightly muddled due to their current success. I wanted to know about the
minute day-to-day struggles that a newcomer to pro wrestling encounters.
After not finding a single site dedicated to a journey like this, I was even
more determined to have one. Patrick, the webmaster for Echelonrana, had
offered to create a site for me some time ago. With a more concrete plan for
a site in my mind, we discussed layouts, goals, and other ideas. Before I
knew it, Echelonrana had launched the evening before my first official day of
training.
Because this site encompasses my experiences from day one, I hope it will
serve as both an autobiography of sorts for me and as a source of information
for any aspiring professional wrestler. I don't pull any punches in
recounting my experiences in the ring and I make sure to document any injury,
no matter how slight, I sustain. I'm fortunate to have some friends and
acquaintances in the business who gave me advice and guidance (support, too!)
from day one; for those men and women who don't have anyone to turn to, I can
only hope Echelonrana will, at the very least, provide information and
education on what they're about to get into.
Follow your hearts and dreams, guys...you won't regret it!

As we all know, there are millions upon millions of wrestling related websites out on the net. But I have never come across any sites that document a wrestler during his or her training. That is the purpose of Echelonrana, a documentary of Echelon as she learns the ins & outs of the wrestling business.
And as Echelon progresses in her journey, the site will mature along with her. Whether she ends up in the WWF(which is certainly an attainable goal), or fighting in high school gymnasiums-s he & I will do our best to keep you informed.
Hopefully the site will influence aspiring wrestlers, either in a positive or a negative way. Not many people are aware of the trials & tribulations a pro wrestler has to go through to make it big. I have certainly gained a whole new respect for ALL the wrestlers across the world, since following Echelon.
